A native of Houston, Texas - Dr. Stocks graduated from the University of St. Thomas for her undergraduate studies and in 2017 from Midwestern University, School of Podiatric Medicine where she received her Doctorate degree. “I had a giant metal pole smash my foot. Immediate blood-filled swelling and pain took place. Dr. Stocks was so loving and helpful, she got me in x-rayed, and out super speed. “Beyond grateful I found this place! The staff is nice and friendly. Dr. Stocks is amazing. Gave me a rundown of everything that was wrong with my foot. Gave me several options on how I can treat at home or if I wanted them to treat it since I don’t have insurance and had to pay out of pocket. I decided to get it treated there since in my opinion the prices they gave me weren’t bad at all. She’s super friendly and was cracking jokes to help me to not get tense since I was getting surgery. When Should You Go to the Doctor for an Ingrown Toenail?
Ingrown toenails can sometimes be managed on its own, but it’s recommended to visit your foot specialist in case an infection may occur on the toenail. If you detect any sign of an ingrown toenail infection like pain, swelling, irritation, abscess or redness, it’s important for you to see an ingrown toenail specialist.
